Bio

Cinematographer with a deep passion for creating high-quality visual stories. I have the skills and competencies needed to execute the cinematography of a film: from the development of a visual concept developed at the script level, to its realization on set.

In my filmography, I have been the cinematographer for more than a dozen short feature films, as well as promotional spots, music videos, and documentaries.

Films for which I am the cinematographer have been screened at film festivals around the world: Starting with the Polish Youth and Film Festival in Koszalin, LGBT Filmfest, Independent Days International Filmfestival in Karlsruhe, Neisse Nisa Film Festival, InShadow in Portugal, Manifest Dance-Film Festival in India, Dance On Screen FilmFest in Austria, Blaue Blume in Berlin, Golden Thesis Film Festival in Los Angeles, Kinematora Film Festival in Sweden, Lights Dance Festival in Sweden, Festival MixBrasil in Brazil.

I gained my experience as a cinematographer at the Krzysztof Kieslowski Film School in Katowice, being a student of cinematography and photography. My development in the field of photography led me to the path of cinematographer. After the film school, I developed my craft on the sets of short films, commercials, music videos and full-length productions or series.

This path, allowed me to get acquainted with all the tasks that the divisions and people who work with the cinematographer perform, and to learn the art of cinematography from older and more experienced people in the film industry.

Beyond film, I am still interested in photography and painting, these are the fields in which I am still active. Before I got into film, I was involved in advertising photography, commercial photography, analog photography including, large format photography, and historical photographic techniques such as wet plate collodion. This is a historical photographic art developed in 1839. I was able to reproduce this unique technique in which photographs are made on glass. You can see the works made using this technique in the gallery.

I am inspired by contemporary art, especially painting. My favorite artists are Alberto Giacometti in both painting and sculpture, Mark Rothko, Wojciech Fangor and Jackson Pollock.
